Afterwork drinks with Carmen Chan @ G.O.D

I’m an independent writer and overall operator.
I own my own company, I run my own fashion blog and I source my own clients.
I’m removed from the ‘office’ scene which means instead of casual Friday and after work drinks with ‘Jenny’ from the opposite desk or company canteen – I meet with fellow tweeters and bloggers at fashion based events – which are is opportunity to mix and mingle with industry contemporaries & virtual friends, networking over a champagne or two (sometimes three).

This month we met up to support our fellow fashionista Ms.Carmen Chan A.K.A.@CarmenChan – as she is known on Twitter – checking out her collaboration as a photographer for the ‘Colonial Goods X G.O.D X Lee Kung Man Knitting Factory’ a Hong Kong based three-way project.
The essence of this project was to re-introduce a classic T-shirt with heritage, while showcasing the craftsmanship and traditional methods of production behind a quality product still made in Hong Kong.

Ms.C.Chan captured these icons T’s with her analogue techniques of photo-taking (The t shirts will be available in two iconic styles: The “Roundneck” and the “Henley”) and her fellow #HKFashionBlogging contemporaries were: 1.) Happy to have an after-drink-work with ‘work-mates’ and 2.) Amped to support local talent!
