Humidity kills every effort to look glamorous or even anything but limp-headed when it comes to hairstyles.
Well, so I thought!
As it turns out, I simply wasn’t using the right product in the right way (translation: I had no idea what I was doing!)
So who better to come to my rescue than 1/2 of SachaJuan – Sachaaaaaaa!

Ok, so his name is not spelt like that, but with his swished back long lion locks and his Easten European accent he did have that rock-star quality that makes the girls gush and the guys want to be like him!
Which is actually as easy to do as say!
It’s all about the hair (& lots of product!)

Now if it’s Carey Bradshaw, sexy fashion bounce that you want to achieve – then here is how:
1.) Wash and condition – if your blonde like me, look into getting Silver Shampoo to help your blonde from not tarnishing & turning yellow: Silver Shampoo $219/ 250ml, Silver conditioner $239/250ml
-
And here’s a fab tip for those who are in need of a serious treatment, don’t do it once every 10 days as usually recommended, do it every time you wash your hair!
Get seriously regular with treating your hair until the bottle has gone then go back to normal conditioner.
I currently use: Leave In conditioner $239/250ml OR Shachjuan Over Night Hair Repair: $580/100ml
2. Dry as normal – either left to air dry or with hair dryer.
TIP: After your conditioner, also spray in a leave-in conditioner all over to help detangle before combing through (especially if you have long or fine hair!)
Leave In conditioner $239/250ml
AND THEN…. cover your whole hair with moouse before you blow-dry it:
3. When your hair is dry, rub Hair Paste into sections before you curl it with a curling wand – this way it forms definition.

4. Tip head forward (upside down) and rummage your hands through your hair, loosening your curls.
TIP: don’t be precious, get messy with your locks!

5. For extra root lift, spray in: Root LIft : $219/ 200ml or Volume Powder $210/200ml and then Backcomb your curls aggressively in sections, going for a curly but bed-head look and spray an amazing amount of: Hair Spray $239/300ml as you work.

My lesson learnt throughout this process – use the right product and lots off it and really get involved in the back combing section!
The bigger the hair you want the more back combing you must do and the more product you must use to maintain the ‘biggness’.
PS. Cheap product just won’t give you glamorous hair – if you want a red carpet look then invest in one!
