Nine West 31

Brand Loyal?

In New Zealand (where I’m from) we don’t stock Nine West.

Although in Australia, where a lot of my extended family live, they do!
Which meant that on occasional family holidays over to Australia, I was able to satisfy my universally-common shoe obsession.

My first ever purchase resulted in a beige & silver, multi textured pair of scrappy heels and a more classic, but equally high, T-Strap Mary Janes in black… A purchase that invested me as a life long member of the Nine West club.  and no, not because I received their loyalty card, but instead because of the brand loyalty I’ve maintained.

As a rule, females tend to jump & swap brands a LOT more than men.

We experiment, we try, we shop the shops without necessarily looking for brands we recognize, but those we don’t in order to ever extend our wardrobes individualism.
Men on the other hand have a tendency to remain brand loyal.

And in my case, I’m breaking the mold here slightly by also finding comfort in a good old pair of Nine West heels.
Some of my highest and equally most comfortable shoes come from Nine West, which is a treat as I would happily wear fabulous heels despite the Pain for fashions sake.
But with Nine West I don’t need too!

So at the S/S12 collection launch (which included clothing) I was there as a brand devotee.
