Don’t let your make up melt this summer!

We all want to dress up and party and celebrate summer. Well, ladies, I must remind you of 2 things:

1. Not to get carried away with make up
2. Use the right make up!

Summer’s the official makeup melting season!

During the winter, you could be working out with your makeup on (this is NOT suggested – practically skin suicide) and you’d look amazing afterwards, but during the summer…

You step out of your house and you look effortlessly goth as that eyeliner melts down.

So, when you’re putting make up on, just remember to use sunscreen and use light make up.

Try cream eyeshadow, smudge-proof mascaras (or false lashes – my personal summer favorite) and smudge/water proof eyeliner and avoid the notorious panda eyes!

I know it’s a drag to use sunscreen, but it doesn’t matter how flawless your skin is, you need some kind of SPF action happening on your face & body.

While we’re on this topic…

At all costs avoid a mismatched face & neck! You can do this by changing your foundation shade during the summer (you get slightly darker during the summer, especially if your neck/chest is always exposed to the sun and your face is pretty and protected with SPF.
