It’s a treat to not have only been photographed by the charming and superbly talented Amanda Kho, but to have an article in Hong Kongs leading newspaper.
For those that missed getting a newspaper, here are the details of the post…
Style confessions: blogger and style consultant Jasmine Smith
Text and photos by Amanda Kho
She keeps her schedule busy and her outfits mostly black. Fuelled by an ever-growing source of online inspiration, this blogger and image consultant mixes classic pieces with dark accessories for a dramatic look that fits her hectic lifestyle.
Tai Ping Shan is a bit of a getaway for me – it’s the area I go for a little peace and quiet, usually with a great chai masala tea from Teakha.
H&M hat I found this on one of my London shopping ventures. I love throwing a hat into the mix – it roughens things up a little and adds a little rock to an outfit.
Sambag singlet I adore this oversized, slightly see-through and awesomely silver singlet by Australian designer Sam. It has that “tomboy but glamour queen” appeal that makes it easy to wear.
Karen Millen leather jacket I don’t feel like I would quite be me without my leather. I picked this up while doing a styling session for the brand. I was styling others but I couldn’t help styling myself too.
All Saints leather skirt This piece, with its daring split, is so dangerously high, and I love that drama. I saw it on a trip to London and I couldn’t leave without it.
“AT WORK … SMITH WEARS A CROPPED WHITE MEN’S SHIRT FROM LOCAL DESIGNER CHRISTING C AND AN OVERSIZED ALL SAINTS SILVER CHAIN, “OVERSIZED YET CLASSIC, THIS CHAIN WEIGHS AS MUCH AS IT LOOKS.”
“A PLUKKA RING ON HER FINGER.”
PLUKKA RING WITH AN H&M CLUTCH (“I LOVE IT WHEN CHEAP, EXPERIMENTAL BUYS TURN OUT TO BE THE BEST.”).
