Pure entertainment!

This season Steve Madden had fashion-favourite, Mr Miles Slater (Music director of KEE club) setting tracks that made the models literally spin and thrust and throw their arms up in the air as they came down the catwalk.

As entertained as the crowd was, watching these lanky models sway & grind (depending on the tune), the models seemed to be having even more fun as the playfully showcased the seasons footwear trends.

The Lanvin video clip of hotel room antics, music turned up too loud & cheesy dance moves has convincingly become a catwalk trait, and an amusing one at that!
What it absolutely succeeded in was creating a critical-comment-less atmosphere.
The crowd was in such a good mood via such energetic displays of fashionizing that they seemed to simply love all the shoes on display as a direct result of the pumped atmosphere that was set.
But pop-loving tracks and jiggling models aside – below are some of the shoes that sashayed down the catwalk – which still to me represent youth, parties and taxi cab rides home – consistency in branding really is the key to keeping customers happy – and Steve Madden did exactly that this season!
